Digital Playground is planning a September 2008 release for Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge, director and company co-founder Joone told AVN.Key players from the original Pirates will return in the sequel, including contract star Jesse Jane as pirate hunter Jules, Evan Stone as Capt. Edward Reynolds and Tommy Gunn as lead pirate Victor Stagnetti, the role that won him the AVN trophy for Best Supporting Actor – Video in 2006. DP contract girls Stoya, Adrianna Lynn, Katsuni and Shay Jordan will be in on the swashbuckling action, as well."The visual effects have been in production for about a year now," Joone said. "The physical shooting is going to happen this spring. That's probably a smaller part of this production. There's a lot of effects in the movie … the level of quality that we're going after is much higher than the first one."
